Summer Programs

Join the summer fun at James River Day School! There are many opportunities for engaging enrichments (rising K through 8th grade), and James River offers our 8-week Summer Day Camp for kids in rising first grade through age 12.

LEGO: Build. Code. Learn

What: LEGO: Build. Code. Learn
Where: Lower School STEM Lab

Using "WeDo" classroom materials from LEGO, students will incorporate building, coding, and robotics. Younger students will participate in guided lessons, while older students’ lessons will be more open ended. “WeDo combines the LEGO brick and classroom-friendly software to enhance curiosity. Designed with collaboration in mind, students will learn engineering principles.” — LEGO
