Michelle B. Davis

Michelle Davis was appointed as Director of Development, effective November 2019. Serving as a member of the Advancement Team, Michelle is responsible for all fundraising efforts, cultivation of current and prospective constituents, and education about philanthropy at James River.

 

Prior to coming to James River Day School, Michelle worked as the Director of Memberships and Corporate Giving at the Academy Center of the Arts here in Lynchburg. She has extensive experience in sales and marketing through her years of experience in pharmaceutical and medical sales and as the co-founder of an e-commerce store focusing on the pet industry. Michelle earned B.S. and M.S. degrees from West Virginia University. 

 

Michelle and her husband, Corey, are proud parents of two James River students. Michelle previously served on the Board of Trustees at James River and is an active member of the JRDS Parents’ Association. In her spare time, you will most often find her with either a book or a camera in hand.
