In December 2016, Jamie Moss was hired as a substitute teacher. She later served as a long term substitute for a teacher’s planned leave in 2020. In the fall of 2021, Jamie joined our staff as our Substitute Coordinator and Advancement Assistant.
Jamie holds a Bachelor of Science degree in psychology from James Madison University and a Master of Science in occupational therapy from the University of Alabama - Birmingham. Prior to her involvement at James River, she provided support services to children through the Lynchburg City School System. Mrs. Moss has long been an active volunteer and a valued substitute for our school.
Jamie and her husband, Saxton, are the parents to one James River alumna and two current James River students.
