Evan Otterholt grew up in the Pacific Northwest in Bellingham, Washington. He graduated high school in 2015 and moved across the country to Virginia to attend Liberty University. He is currently finishing his degree in computer engineering and will graduate in May 2021.
Evan joined James River in 2018 as a volunteer I.T. specialist. He is now part of our staff as a Technology Assistant. He works with all sorts of technology around the school, from 3D printers to WiFi routers.
In August of 2020, Evan proposed to his long time girlfriend, Chelsea, who has also previously volunteered at James River. After college, he hopes to pursue a career in technological development and engineering somewhere in the Pacific Northwest. In his free time, Evan enjoys staying active through sports, walking, biking, and hiking in the great outdoors. In the winters in Washington State, he remains active by playing indoor soccer and skiing on Mt. Baker. Other hobbies include reading, video games, and electronic circuit design.
