Mrs. Reams began teaching fourth grade at James River in 2006. She received her B.A. from Lynchburg College in 1990 and her M.Ed. from Lynchburg College in 2015. In 2016, Pam shifted roles and is now teaching middle school English and assisting students as a reading specialist. Pam lives in Lynchburg with her two children, who are both JRDS graduates.
In summer 2018, Pam attended a three-day seminar at Virginia Episcopal Sschool on classroom differentiation led by Carol Ann Tomlinson, author of many books on the subject. Differentiation was a major focus of Pam's graduate studies, and she was quite inspired to learn from Dr.Tomlinson in person. As a result, Pam leads an in-house learning group focused on key strategies for classroom differentiation.
