Cardinal Sports Report

We had an excellent week last week, Sept. 16-21.

Cross Country competed in a tri-meet Tuesday, Sept. 17, at HumanKind against Sandusky and Linkhorne. We came in second in both age groups. Eighth graders led the way with Liam Hunt winning the boys' race and Kate Flippin getting second in the girls' race!

On Wednesday, 7th/8th Grade Volleyball beat Holy Cross in three games. The final game we won, 15-13.

Soccer tied Holy Cross Thursday, 4-4. Great play by both teams.
Eighth graders Loren Oliver and Case Irby split time as keepers. Eighth graders continued to lead the team as Amogh Thallapragada, Brandon Jeirles, Ethan Tebit, and Luke Huryk each scored.

5th/6th Grade Soccer had an intra-squad game at the YMCA on Saturday. Red won, 2-0. Sixth graders Enzo Wagner-Zechin and Rohan Prabhu had one goal each.

Also on on Saturday, September 21, our 7th/8th Grade Volleyball Team won the 2019 Timberlake Christian Invitational Middle School Volleyball Tournament. They were undefeated in all five of their matches. The team member and their coaches, Rebekah Green and Brooke Stanley, happily posed with their plaques after being presented the tournament awards. Elle L. was named Tournament MVP. Ava Grace K. and Mary Elizabeth K. were named to the All-Tournament Team. Please congratulate this great group of girls and their coaches. They all showed what it means to be a team player!
