Summer Programs

Join the summer fun at James River Day School! There are many opportunities for engaging enrichments (rising K through 8th grade), and James River offers our 8-week Summer Day Camp for kids in rising first grade through age 12.

After-School Care

The environment in James River's aftercare program is supportive and child-centered. It is a safe place where children can grow and develop. The aftercare schedule balances structured and free choice activities, indoor and outdoor time, and active and quiet time. Aftercare is open during the school year each afternoon from 3:00 to 5:30 p.m. In the summertime, the Children's Center is open to James River students and the public for children who have completed kindergarten up to age 12.
