Summer Programs

Join the summer fun at James River Day School! There are many opportunities for engaging enrichments (rising K through 8th grade), and James River offers our 8-week Summer Day Camp for kids in rising first grade through age 12.

Heather Guard

Ms. Guard joined the faculty at James River in 2013. She teaches fifth grade science and English. Heather received her Bachelor of Science degree in psychology from Towson University. She later attained her Master of Arts in neurobiology from George Mason University. She is presently pursuing her Master of Education in science education through Lynchburg College. Heather and her two children live in Lynchburg.
