Summer Programs

Join the summer fun at James River Day School! There are many opportunities for engaging enrichments (rising K through 8th grade), and James River offers our 8-week Summer Day Camp for kids in rising first grade through age 12.

JRDS Night at the Ballpark - Combined Choirs Sing National Anthem

What: JRDS Night at the Ballpark - Combined Choirs Sing National Anthem
When: 5/29/2018, 6:10 PM – 8:40 PM
Where: Lynchburg Hillcats, 3180 Fort Ave, Lynchburg, VA 24501, USA

Students in the 3/4 chorus and middle school choir will sing the National Anthem to start the Hillcats game on May 29. Each singer will be admitted into the park free of charge as well as presented with one free ticket for a parent or guardian.

Singers should dress in their red polo shirts, khaki bottoms. Pants, shorts, skirts are all fine.

The gates open at 5:30.
JRDS singers will gather at 6:10 inside the front gates to warm up.

We will be escorted to the field at 6:20.
Performance at 6:25.
Game begins at 6:30.

All singers must be with a parent or guardian as this is not a JRDS chaperoned event.
