We teach a hands-on approach to music, where students in every grade level (K-4) are actively involved in performing, listening to, and creating music. Students are offered performance venues within the school and community through annual classroom musicals, participation in concerts and events both in school and out.

In middle school, we take a performance-based approach to music learning. Students are actively involved in the music-making process by performing in the Cardinal Band, Choir, or Orchestra. Students participate in multiple performances throughout the year including Winter and Spring Concerts, Thankful Hearts Feast, Grandparents' Day, Awards Ceremony, and Graduation. Middle school music ensembles also travel to Kings Dominion annually to participate in the Festival of Music.
Elementary music classes meet twice weekly for 30 minutes (K-4). Middle school students see an increase to four 30-minute class periods weekly. All music classes meet during the school day as part of the curriculum.
