This is only the second year that Field Day has been a whole school event, and it was such a joy to watch all of our students get the opportunity to be kids. We are also excited to partner with Wild Ones (formerly Blue Ridge Conservation) to begin planting a native garden at the front of campus. These gardens are not only intended to beautify our campus but also to support pollinators in our area.
This time of year moves quickly. With all of the events and festivities, it starts to feel a bit like a checklist as we count down to the last days of school. We thank all of our volunteers and the P.A. who help make these events a success.
Our eighth graders had the opportunity to travel to Washington D.C. This trip serves as both an educational experience as well as a bonding experience before they graduate and matriculate to different high schools.
