Summer Programs

Join the summer fun at James River Day School! There are many opportunities for engaging enrichments (rising K through 8th grade), and James River offers our 8-week Summer Day Camp for kids in rising first grade through age 12.

2nd Grade Trip to Monticello

What: 2nd Grade Trip to Monticello
When: 5/17/2019, 7:20 AM – 3:00 PM
Where: Charlottesville, Virginia

The bus will pull out of the JRDS parking lot at 7:30am on Friday, May 17, in order to get to Monticello on time for our tour. If we miss our tour slot, we will not have a tour, so it is very important for students to arrive by 7:20am that morning.

Students need to wear comfortable walking shoes (e.g.: tennis shoes) and may need a sweater or light jacket ,depending on the weather. All students will need a morning snack with drink for mid-morning, and a bag lunch with drink for our picnic.
