Join the summer fun at James River Day School! There are many opportunities for engaging enrichments (rising K through 8th grade), and James River offers our 8-week Summer Day Camp for kids in rising first grade through age 12.

LEGO® WeDo: Build. Code. Learn.

What: LEGO® WeDo: Build. Code. Learn.
When: 7/2/2021, 9:00 AM – 11:30 AM

LEGO^® WeDo: Build. Code. Learn.
This hands-on experience ignites students' curiosity, while enhancing their skills in science, engineering, technology, and coding. WeDo combines the LEGO^® brick with child-friendly software to encourage collaboration while teaching engineering principles. Students will design and build robots with motors, sensors, and Bluetooth smart hubs. After each build, the students will program their creations using basic code blocks on the LEGO^®; WeDo app. Our youngest learners will build basic models with step-by-step instructions, while more advanced students will participate in open-ended challenges.
