It's been another good week. School continues to run very smoothly. Afternoon carpool has also gone well given the numerous people, cars, and varied dismissal times involved.
Please arrive on time for your child's carpool. If you arrive early, you will be asked to either park or circle around again.
- Kindergarten and 1st grade are dismissed at 2:45 p.m.
- Grades 2-4 are dismissed at 3:00 p.m. This is a change to allow more of a buffer between first and second carpool.
- Grades 5-8 are dismissed at 3:30 p.m.
At their dismissal time, K-4 students awaiting middle school siblings go to the Taylor Media Center until 3:30 p.m. Students not picked up by 3:40 p.m. will be sent to the Children’s Center.
During carpool, please remember to drive SLOWLY on campus. To ensure the safety of your children, do not drop off or pick up children at the chained gate on Bon Ton Road or at the Varner Music & Arts Center. Use the carpool lane beside Carrington Field House ONLY during carpool hours. In the carpool lane along the front of the school, lease pull up as far as you can, both when in line and when discharging children. All children should exit and enter cars from the passenger (right) side. No child should walk between parked cars or into the parking lot unattended.
