One of the four pillars of James River’s Strategic Plan is to promote and amplify the school’s success in developing scholars, leaders, and citizens. As a member of the school community, you do just that each time you engage others by telling stories about your James River experience. Organically, telling these stories promotes and creates an awareness of our mission, vision, and values to a broader audience and prospective families.  
 
Beyond this highly impactful word-of-mouth messaging, the school as an institution strives to create evolving and ongoing marketing strategies that support telling the James River story. For example, a recent marketing initiative has been an online digital ad campaign, and this week we utilized social media to share a video that presents an upbeat view of our school community. This provided us the opportunity to build engagement with a broader audience through Facebook, thus leveraging the school’s visibility.
