Fully Staffed and Preparing for the First Day

We are just less than two weeks from the start of school. Can you believe it?reading a story in the library

Summer has flown by faster than ever. And as that first day of school approaches, I’ll admit I’m probably as excited about it as any of the kids -- including the kindergarteners.

I’m looking forward to welcoming our teachers next week as we prepare for your children’s arrival. With the faculty and staff in mind, I wanted to outline the personnel changes made over the summer.

Carly Lawrence joins Anissa Umberger in teaching kindergarten, and Hollyday Marks joins Elizabeth Owen in first grade. Former kindergarten teacher Erica Lemasters will once again be our Substitute Coordinator and offer instructional support. Betsy Layne, previously a first-grade teacher, will be our reading specialist, helping younger students become strong readers. Regina Stone teams up with Brooke Stanley in fourth grade, while Jeannie Heishman takes on the challenge of being our curriculum coordinator. Casey Eccles will be teaching English in the middle school. Nugent Koscielny will be teaching French and visual arts in grades 5-8. And Kandy Rini joins our staff as our middle school Resource teacher. And the most recent change is a switch in job duties for Jamie Moss, who is now our Assistant Director of Admissions and Advancement Associate to support our administrative staff.

Please see the school website for more information on each member of our faculty and staff.
