My friends, what a great start to the year we have had! There have been hugs and smiles all over the building. The new connections and renewed friendships are flourishing. Those relationships form the heart of our school community. The warmth, the bonds between us--these are the foundations for the growth and learning that occur during a school year. And the beginning of the year is the start of turning all these relationships into active partnerships.
James River is a complex, people-oriented institution. As a math guy, I think of all the relationships that exist at James River. Multiply the number of students by the number of parents times the number of faculty and you arrive at a VERY large number of possible connections! Without these relationships, a school is just a set of buildings. We are grateful for your partnership and look forward to an amazing school year.
