Exciting and important times are ahead! The next few weeks are full of fun events, including the Halloween parade and class celebrations, the start of basketball season, and our traditional Thankful Hearts feast. Our school community is thriving and busy, and we look forward to enjoying it all.
Of most importance is the Head of School search, which will be a major focus starting next Thursday (November 3) and continuing through the end of the following week (November 11). The three finalists for the Head of School position will visit James River to interview and meet the community. Choosing the next Head of School is one of the most important responsibilities held by the Board of Trustees. And, while the ultimate decision is theirs, it is important that you get a chance to meet these candidates as the Board will be seeking your feedback.
Please join the school in welcoming these candidates to James River and sharing with them all that is exceptional about our learning community. Mark your calendar and plan to attend one community session for each candidate listed below.
Lastly, be sure to read all the school's emails thoroughly to help us keep you informed over the upcoming busy weeks.
