“... there’s nothing more beautiful than the way the ocean refuses to stop kissing the shoreline no matter how many times it is sent away.” –Sarah Kay, excerpt from “B” (If I Should Have a Daughter)
We are making steady progress toward the final days of school, which is always a bittersweet time. We look forward to the warm and carefree nature of summer with its summer camps, vacations, and hot weather. For some of us, it means saying goodbye to our friends for a short period of time while we focus on family. It is also bittersweet to watch our oldest Cardinals graduate and move toward high school, but it is the circle of life and part of the beauty of watching kids grow up.
As we wind down the year, we will continue to celebrate all of our students and their achievements. I also invite you to make a donation to the Cardinal Annual Fund to support all that James River contributes to the lives of children.
Let’s Fly!
