Join the summer fun at James River Day School! There are many opportunities for engaging enrichments (rising K through 8th grade), and James River offers our 8-week Summer Day Camp for kids in rising first grade through age 12.

Another Year Has Ended

On Friday, May 31, we celebrated our eighth graders as they graduated from James River. Now, they are headed to high school. We are proud of all of their achievements, and we know they are well-equipped for their next steps, wherever that may take them. They will do great things. They are ready to spread their wings!

The last all-school, weekly email of the 2023-2024 school year was sent out on Thursday, May 30. Parents, please check your inbox for it. This particular email is full of a lot of great information about summer reading and so much more. Please read through it carefully. If you didn't receive your copy, you can find it in the email archive in the Community section of this website.

One of the best decisions, I have made as an adult (besides marrying Mr. Lindsay) was to join the James River community. I am thrilled to have finished my first school year and to have gotten to know you all. Enjoy your summer! See you in the new school year!
