Taking Care in All We Do

“The only way to survive is by taking care of one another.” —Grace Lee Boggs

Last week, we celebrated our Hanging of the Greens to kick off the holiday season with a new twist—a Wrap-In. Led by our Community Service Coordinator, Casey Eccles, we invited students to bring one gift to support a child who receives services through the Jubilee Center or Lynchburg Daily Bread. Cardinal Buddies worked together to decorate and wrap the gifts. Our PA supported our activities with the traditional Sprite with candy canes and snacks. It was a fun community event, and I cannot thank Mrs. Eccles enough for her organization and leadership.

We have one more week before heading off for the Holiday Break with a few more events on the horizon, including our Fourth-Grade Music Program and the Middle School Winter Concert next week. I look forward to watching our students on stage as they showcase their growth, poise, and confidence. Those events are always fun and energizing.

Thank you to our faculty and staff who have gone above and beyond this week to spread joy and creativity!

Let’s fly!
