I hope the last week of January has you looking forward to spring and sunnier weather. As we head into the spring semester, we have begun planning for the next school year, and the 2025-2026 academic calendar is linked for your convenience.
As you review the attached Major Dates Calendar for next year, I wanted to highlight two changes that mostly impact our middle school students. To better support our rising seventh and eighth graders who sit for exams for high school credit courses, we have moved the fall exams to December, before the break. This will allow them to rest fully during the holiday break without studying for or worrying about exams. Additionally, the winter concerts for middle school band, orchestra, and choir will be moved to January (dates to be determined) to help ease the burden on busy family schedules.
