It's been a busy week, accompanied by a welcome wave of spring weather. It's just in time for Spring Break. I hope your family has plans that allow you to have some fun and just relax. Your students have been working hard.
On that note, I want to congratulate our Cardinal Band on their performances today at the Virginia Band and Orchestra Directors Association (VBODA) assessments held at Heritage High School. After pulling out all the stops to practice and perfect their work, they came home with straight superiors! I am so impressed by our middle school music students. Just like the Cardinal Orchestra did last week, these students achieved the highest rating on their first outing to this very tough assessment. Our students received many compliments for their focus, discipline, and attention to detail, and we couldn’t be more proud of their hard work and dedication. Congratulations, musicians and Mrs. Berkley! You do great work.
