"Piglet noticed that even though he had a Very Small Heart, it could hold a rather large amount of Gratitude." -- A.A. Milne
I hope that you have also enjoyed some time for what matters most to you this summer. I have been grateful for the slower pace of summer filled with deep thought, good books, family and friends, and time in the wilderness, but I can honestly say that we all miss you very much. We are ready to hear the halls bustling with the energy and joy of our students and faculty.
As we get through our final to-do lists around here, I hope this can help you prepare for the new school year ahead in time for the tax-free weekend. A few notes to help you prepare:
- Please take special note of immunization requirements if you have a student entering 7th grade this year.
- School supply lists were shared earlier this summer (and again below). We are well-stocked with sanitizing wipes (i.e., Clorox wipes) and Ziploc bags, if those items were on your grade-level supplies. Feel free not to purchase additional quantities.
- A gentle reminder to all families that we are a cell phone and smartwatch-free school. These items do not need to be a part of your back-to-school shopping.
We look forward to seeing you all in less than one month!
Let’s Fly!
