Partnering Together (Sept. 18, 2025)

It was great to see so many families at the Fall Family Picnic on Friday, September 12. Thank you to our Parents Association, our PA volunteers, and student volunteers who helped to make this such a fun community event. It is always a joy to see everyone together, and the weather could not have been better!

I enjoyed seeing parents again on Thursday, September 18, for Back-to-School Night. It was an excellent opportunity to meet teachers. We began our program by gathering in the Fieldhouse at 6:30 p.m. After which, parents visited with homeroom teachers and advisors before meeting with other classroom teachers. Our teachers prepared an insightful evening.

On a different note, I have noticed that our morning drop-off is taking longer than usual. I wanted to send a quick reminder that once your child is safely out of the vehicle, you may move out of line around cars in front of you if they are still actively dropping off. This will help the line move more smoothly, allowing more cars to cycle through the drop-off quickly. The same is true at dismissal, but the line is generally not as long for dismissal because of the staggered pick-up times. We just ask that you are mindful of your speed and watch for traffic around you.

Let’s Fly!
