"Simply understanding that we can build empathy is the first step towards doing it. What I’d love for us to do is empathize with purpose, especially when it’s hard.” — Jamil Zaki
I hope that your conferences were productive yesterday and that you are preparing for fun events related to Halloween. The Halloween Parade and Carnival are joyful events on campus, and it's exciting that Halloween falls on a Friday this year!
As I often share this time of year, I spend a great deal of time in reflection as the month of November approaches. October is a busy season of life, and we will soon settle into a season of gratitude. Being a part of this community and watching my team of faculty and staff flourish to provide a place where our students can grow courageously and lead empathetically is a true honor. I love watching our students and faculty put their best foot forward daily.
Next Wednesday, October 29, will be our sixth annual Day of Giving to kick off this year’s Cardinal Annual Fund (CAF) campaign. This vital part of our operational budget bridges the gap between the cost of being an independent school and what is covered by tuition. Please give generously at whatever level makes sense for your family.
Let’s Fly!
