“Action is a great restorer and builder of confidence. Inaction is not only the result but the cause of fear. Perhaps the action you take will be successful; perhaps different action or adjustments will have to follow. But any action is better than no action at all.” – Norman Vincent Peale
Words cannot express how glad we all are to have outdoor recess/break again. The ice on the playgrounds took much longer than expected to melt. I am beyond grateful for all our teachers have done to make sure our students got movement during the “dark days,” but I know our kids were excited to have fresh air again and the ability to run, climb, and play. We cannot wait to be able to fully experience the warmth of Spring, though.
Last night, we hosted our winter Sports Awards for middle school, and we could not be prouder of all our student-athletes who set a great example on the court during basketball season. Our teams had some impressive wins throughout the season, and it was a joy to watch them play! Coach Wiggins also announced her retirement at the end of this school year at the award ceremony. We will celebrate Coach’s many accomplishments throughout the spring.
Let’s Fly!
