This month's character word is Optimism, the perfect word for March. As we move out of the dark days of winter to more daylight hours and warmer weather on the horizon (yes, please), we aim for consistent school routines and continuing success in our programs. Spring break also offers a welcome respite from the doldrums of winter!
Last year, we revamped our middle school schedule to develop our middle school music programming. For the second year in a row, our orchestra scored straight SUPERIORS across all assessments in their district assessments this week, and our band earned straight EXCELLENTS as well. We are so proud of all they accomplished. Way to go, Cardinal Symphony Orchestra and Cardinal Band!
We will kick off this season of optimism with Grandparents and Special Friends Day tomorrow! This event is always a joyful day, spent with important and influential friends in our community, while our students showcase their hard work.
