Upcoming Parent-Teacher Conferences (September 10, 2026)

“Sometimes the mistakes are what makes a work great. Humanity breathes in mistakes.”

–Rick Rubin, The Creative Act: A Way of Being

As we continue to settle into our school routines, Parent-Teacher Conferences are just around the corner on September 23, 2026. You should have had time to review the schedule that was sent out earlier this week. If you have any additional requests, please notify Katie Mason-Loy, Director of Communications.

Our returning families likely noted that conferences are quite a bit earlier this year than in previous years, a change we highlighted when we shared the 2026-2027 calendar last January. Moving conferences forward was done with the intention of inviting parents in at the beginning of the year to learn more about your child and his/her teacher. This is a great opportunity for parents to partner with homeroom teachers and advisors to develop a plan for the year before grades and academics begin to ramp up. Teachers will spend most of their time listening to your thoughts for the year, and they will share what you can expect from them and their classes this year. Our hope is that this is valuable time for you to connect with your child’s teacher/advisor and be prepared for the upcoming year.

I look forward to seeing everyone at the Fall Family Picnic tomorrow. Thank you to the PA for their efforts to organize this year’s events, especially the event Chair Emily Anne Dawson and all of our volunteers.
