Hi all,

Your Cardinals have had great success over the last two weeks. The 7th/8th boys' A-team hit the road to  North Cross on December 7, winning 31-25. They followed up that game by winning the Faith Christian Tournament in Hurt this past weekend. They defeated Dayspring and Holy Cross. I was able to attend the final game, and our team played very well against a strong and very tall Holy Cross team.

This week, they beat Sacred Heart on the road in Danville. Woody Carrington led our scorers with 13, and Carter Rennyson added eight. Last night they beat Timberlake Christian, 47-6.  Eli Wood led all scorers with 14 points. Cole Workman chipped in eight.

Our boys' B-team is working hard, but suffered defeats at New Covenant, North Cross and Sacred Heart. They are learning and improving with every game, and I know the new year will bring them success.

Our girls' 7th/8th B-team struggled with shooting and lost to a talented Timberlake Christian School team December 14, 29-11. Imaan Syed led our scorers with six points.

Our boys' 5th/6th grade teams competed against very tough competition. The white team played against a much bigger Desmond Doss team. They are a very small school and only have one team (5th-8th grade). We played hard and look forward to competing against them again in January.

The sixth grade played a close game against Sacred Heart on the road and we look forward to matching up against them again after break!

GO, CARDINALS!!!!!
