n the weeks ahead, you will be invited to participate in an evaluation process of my first one hundred days at James River Day School's Head of School. An increasingly common practice, the exercise is invaluable to the School, the faculty, our students, and to you. It is my most sincere hope you will participate fully and openly. Ralph Davison, the consultant who was engaged by the Board of Trustees to lead the search that brought me to James River, will hold a series of interviews to gather information that will help me be the best school leader I can be. Your honest feedback regarding my perceived strengths, weaknesses, and areas of growth will afford me the best opportunity to grow, learn new skills, and serve this community with distinction. In advance, thank you for your participation.
