The community gathered today to witness the second grade's Hall of States presentation. Like many of our important traditions, we celebrate each child while challenging them to be scholars, leaders, and citizens. The lessons built into preparing Hall of States are many: researching, reading for information, organizing data, preparing and practicing scripts, learning lyrics, creating visual demonstrations of knowledge, and of course public speaking. We applaud our second graders for their diligent study, careful preparation, and courageous, polished speaking. Thank you to Mrs. Daniel for leading much-loved project, and of course to Mrs. Cox and Mrs. Pratt for helping each child succeed.
