Recently, Mrs. Hardison was one of 75 teachers in the world to be awarded a fellowship to attend the 2018 Klingenstein Summer Institute. She will spend two weeks this summer "exploring teaching styles, educational philosophies, and educational issues" with top Columbia University professors and master teachers. Nancy is "honored and thrilled to have this opportunity to bring cutting edge pedagogy, knowledge, rigor, and inspiration back to the teachers and students of James River Day School."
