Summer Programs

Join the summer fun at James River Day School! There are many opportunities for engaging enrichments (rising K through 8th grade), and James River offers our 8-week Summer Day Camp for kids in rising first grade through age 12.

Carly Lawrence

Appointed in 2022, Carly Lawrence teaches kindergarten for James River Day School. Carly has a B.S. in elementary studies from Ferrum College and worked as a lead pre-K teacher at St. John’s Pre-School for five years. Carly substitute taught for James River during the 2021-2022 year and proved to be a solid professional.

Carly and her family live in Lynchburg.
