Summer Programs

Join the summer fun at James River Day School! There are many opportunities for engaging enrichments (rising K through 8th grade), and James River offers our 8-week Summer Day Camp for kids in rising first grade through age 12.

Hollyday Marks

Appointed in August 2022, Hollyday Marks teaches first grade for James River Day School.

Hollyday has a B.S. in health and exercise science from Gettysburg College and an M.S. in special education from the University of Phoenix. She has many years of elementary teaching experience, the most recent being at Boonsboro Elementary since 2018.

Hollyday and her husband, Aaron, are the parents of two James River students. The Marks family resides in Lynchburg.
