Summer Enrichment

Summer is a chance to try something new, improve a skill, read for fun, and just get outside. Take a look at the many ways kids can play, grow, and learn this summer. It's going to be so much fun. Hope we see you this summer! These summer enrichment opportunities are open to the public with the exception of One-Room Schoolhouse.

Kids can swim or just float around to cool off each week in a nearby swimming pool. In addition, children will enjoy creating crafts, reading books, and playing outside. Each day, children need to bring a lunch, morning and afternoon snacks, and drinks. Children will be supervised by our certified staff. With approximately 4,000 miles of combined backpacking experience and hundreds of nights sleeping under the stars, Mr. and Mrs. Gillum will be outstanding guides on an unforgettable journey. Experiences will include canoeing, playing in the creek, gaining wilderness skills, tackling the “Dangling Duo” high ropes challenge, and hiking the incredible five-mile “Dragon’s Tooth” hike on the Appalachian Trail. Nighttime activities will include stargazing, s'mores around the campfire, and “man-hunt.” We will be camping in tents and eating meals at our campsite, except for one splurge night of pizza.
